Chris Hughes

In advising on all things furniture and joinery related, Chris can draw on 35 years of knowledge and experience within the industry.

From a background in architectural/spatial design, he went on to study furniture design and cabinet-making under the tutelage of John Makepeace at Parnham in Dorset, before spending many years designing and making exquisite pieces of bespoke furniture to commission, picking up several Guildmarks and awards along the way. 

During this time, managing a large workshop and working on projects of every kind and scale, he has gained an extensive understanding of the needs of interior designers, architects and manufacturers, collaborating with a host of other craftsmen, fabricators and trades, and overseeing a wide variety of high-end residential and commercial projects and installations.
